I am going to make CDS the way Andreas Kalcker does with a hermetically sealed glass jar and shot glass. The seal I have is made from rubber...i think... Does it matter what type of material the seal is made of? Is there a preferred material the seal needs to be made of or does it not matter? Thank you!
My understanding is that rubber will degrade in the presence of ClO2, while silicone will not. You can just use a ball jar with a plastic lid, as long as it seals well.
