CDS & Drinking Alcohol was created by Jed10
Guys,
Does anyone have any advice on starting CDS for the first time & drinking alcohol? Am I going to be ok to drink some wine or have a few beers while taking CDS? I realise this might sound a bit stupid but as its Christmas time id like to have a drink on Christmas day with my family. I have my re-occurring annual sinus infection (5 wks in) & head cold/ soar throat on top but its now calmed down to the point where I think it might actually be going but I still don't feel right. I know for sure if I have a drink it will put my recovery back a few days so I wanted to start CDS as soon as possible but the first batch wont be ready until tomorrow evening which is Christmas eve. The timing couldn't be any worse really.
Should I hold off & then start after Christmas & just put up with the soar throat & snotty nose or is CDS safe to take with alcohol?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

I had one bad experience once while on MMS and drinking later on the day. Bad headache which I normally don't have after drinking red wine. I did not think about it until next time I drank wine after having been on the MMS the whole day. Same problem, same wine brand and which normally never causes me headache.
I have no explanation for this but do not combine the two anymore.
You may have no problem with it. You'll know after trying.

Think I might hold off then, thanks for the advice. I'm really struggling to even stay hydrated at the moment so probably not a good idea mixing things.

I just read DMSO enhances the uptake of alcohol. It may have been the DMSO + alcohol then because I always add like 5-10 drops of DMSO do my MMS.
The headaches make some more sense now..

Just to add my experience, I decided to have 3x low strength beers on the evening after I'd finished Protocol C with CDS.
No issues on that evening & I went to bed without feeling drunk.
However following day I was in a world of pain with an unbearable headache, I couldn't shake it off. At first I thought I was dehydrated but after 5-6 hours of drinking water I was no better.
I started reading Jim Humbles MMS Health Recovery Guide and thought this was part of the detox process. I ended up having some food and it went shortly afterwards.
In my case the pain appearerd to be from lack of food as it subsided when I ate although the MMS Guide did say not to drink alcohol on MMS. I ended up missing the last 2 doses as I had to stop & get a decent meal inside me
School boy error on my part, I should have read the book earlier as I had made a few mistakes with meal timings & sizes the previous day. I ended up not eating enough on that day which caused or seriously contributed to the headache.
