I'm making CDS for the first time. There seems to be different methods. One involves cooing it in the fridge for 2-3 hours after 12 hours in the cupboard and the other one leaves out the fridge. What is the best way? Also I want to go to bed at a decent time tonight so I need to know if it's ok to leave the CDS in the cupboard for more than 12 hours (about 20 hours) during the second round?

I like this method. You can't over-activate and you do want to store CDS below 50F (10C) to help keep CLO2 gas from escaping from the water. And, recap the container ASAP after taking out a dose. Keep away from light, especially sunlight.
