IslandEternal Topic Author Offline Senior Member Posts: 77 Thank you received: 11	I thinkl I remember reading in Andreas books that it's ok to store 3000 ppm CDS in a PET bottle, and to dilute it in a PET bottle. But I can't remember very well and I cna't find that part in the book now. So, can you do it? Is it a good idea? My CDS was sold to me in PET bottles and I use a PET bottle to take my doses during the day.

On page 393 in AK's latest book,

"CDS is best kept in glass bottles and at temperatures below 11°C (52°F). While you can easily transport it at room temperature in glass bottles, remember that it is a gas and will evaporate above 11°C. Amber colored pharmacy PET bottles have also produced acceptable results and are recommended for transport. Although PET is not suitable for
long-term storage of chlorine dioxide, it is relatively stable with CDS, thanks to its neutral pH."

I have measured the pH of CDS (undiluted with water) many times and it is acidic at about 4 pH, not neutral as AK says. I used a pH meter and two different paper pH test strips.

I always use glass to store MMS, CDS, CDH and DMSO.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
