This is my 2nd batch (did not remember noticing bubbles forming when I was doing the 1st one). I used the same diluted solutions (25% Sodium chlorite and 4% HCl), a new bottle of distilled water (same brand as 1st). The only difference is i tried more water this time that the first.
It has been around 6 hours since I activated it and saw these tiny bubbles on the sides of the glass jar.
Is this type of reaction normal? What causes it?
Is the final output (CDS) usable?
Attached herewith is the actual photo of the CDS. As you can see, the first one is fine, this 2nd batch has many tiny bubbles on the side.
Thank you in advance!

that photo was taken sometime around 6 hours after activation if i recall correctly.
update: i did 2nd infusion (still with bubbles), after cooling it in the ref and taking out the activator/shotglass. bubbles still present but seemed much tinier already. next day i peeked at the cooled CDS, no more bubbles.
did the test using lamotte strips, diluting it 1ml to 9ml water, i arrived at somewhere 250ppm-500ppm range. can't make out the color. sure it wasn't 500ppm (since it was too dark), the strip color is somewhere 250-500ppm. seems good to go.
what i will try to do next is infuse it in 'mineral bottled water' that claims it is pH7. i will compare pH level vs this batch which was made with distilled water.. the reading is below 6.0pH (which my current pH strip can accomodate).. ordered a wider range strip to find out the exact pH level next time.

Glad to hear the bubbles are gone. Looking forward to knowing the pH when using mineral water. I believe the reason mineral water has a higher pH is due to the dissolved minerals. You will make a batch of CDS using mineral water or you will use mineral water for diluting a dose of CDS?
By the way, I developed the shot glass double infusion method of making CDS in 2015 and posted it on my website. Andreas apparently found my research paper and decided to make of video in 2019 showing my method. I appreciate him making a how-to video, but he forgot to give me credit for the method. That could be called plagiarism.

I think that dilution is enough to raise the pH from a 5 to near 'neutral'?
I am just intrigued when AK said in his book that CDS is 'neutral' pH.

I use triple filter water to make CDS and I think that is okay, distilled water may not be necessary. Checking with a TDS meter, I don't think there are any minerals in the filtered water as the meter reads zero. Will minerals affect CDS? Probably depends on the different minerals in the water.

Eighty five percent of mammals, that is animals, take naps during the day. It is not really apparent if humans were meant to take naps or not, but children certainly take naps naturally. I personally have taken from 20 to 45 minute daily naps during my entire life. They keep one fresh. People often worry …
