CDS is the extracted gas in water from mms. So the same but CDS is better tasting. Besides more economic in use since you also capture the gas and you drink the rest of the mms. For now I would start with mms directly then. For later find out how to make your own CDS. You find it if you google making cds out of mms jim humble 2012. It takes half a day to buy stuff and make it.
There is actually an overnight method of making CDS, if you have the time. I moved over to this process some time ago (and I was around for the original work with CDS) -
