Does anybody remember reading Jim Humble stating that it is good to eat steak for maintaining protein when fighting cancer?

I know he also mentions it in his August newsletter about eating healthy, but I thought I read him say it somwhere else and I cannot find it now.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Joe

I remember reading that he does not oppose eating meat in general, but I don't think he mentioned it specifically in regards to the dieat of a cancer patient. I would stay away from it until you recover.

Hi jemco
From what i can recall from the GERSON therapy for cancer, meat is completely out of
pecients diet especially at the begining.Only fresh organic fruit juices [three glasses of freshly squized
juices per enema ] ,pluss specific supplements.
And not only meat is out of the diet but all dairy products too!
You will find out much more about dieting for ca in the Web.

Wish all the best

Look, I understand there is information on the internet stating that meat and steak is not good for cancer, however, I am kind of sure that I read Jim Humble stating that a cancer patient needs meat for protein to fight cancer.

Can anybody recall reading this or does anybody know Jim Humble's position on this topic?

Maybe I read it on one of Jim's web pages which is no longer available, but if so then did any of you read something like I am describing?

I have already instructed someone to eat meats who is fighting leukemia and although the internet may say otherwise, I would really like to know what Jim says about this.

Thank you,
Joe

Hi, jemco
This is what Jim Humble says about meat and cancer. I think he posted it on this forum

After some 5 million people trying MMS many who took all kind of drugs, none have ever said that there is a reaction between the drugs and MMS. I have always said that I don't believe MMS reacts badly with drugs. No one has ever said I was wrong. But I always recommend starting out with very small doses of MMS like a quarter of a drop hourly for a 5 or 6 hours to see if there is any bad reaction. If not it is safe to continue to 1/2 drop and hour and after a few hours to more and keep up that mode of operation as that is what protocol 2000 calls for.

I would wait a day or two before starting spraying and baths.

Proof is hard to get, but tests by a chemist outside the body proves nothing as the steroids have many other things to react with in the body as well. Just start out slow as suggested.

The many cancer cure success stories that MMS has helped almost never mention baking soda. I don't have any evidence against take it. It does not seem to affect the MMS, but nowhere in the world has there been any clinical trials showing that increasing the pH of the saliva and urine helps cure the cancer, and I have know those who died trying that theory.

I really apologize for disagreeing with people who are trying to be helpful and especially with Gidaygiday as she has many good ideas there, and I sure don't suggest that I am always right, but as the discoverer of MMS and the head on the Genesis 2 Church it is my duty to at least appraise people of our knowledge of technology as best we know it. So in light of that let me say that dead bodies are alkaline. There has been no proof that we must make our bodies alkaline.

Also in that light our advice to cancer patients is just the opposite of most modern therapists who suggest the one should eat vegetable and fruits and avoid protein mostly. The body make numerous healing and fighting substances from protein including all the natural antibodies that the human body makes are made from protein. There is no scientific evidence that vegetables fights cancer. There are numerous people dead who tried. Please eat plenty of protein like more than 1 pound of protein a day. Use digestive enzymes and HCl tablets to digest the protein only when needed. YOU NEED PROTEIN TO HANDLE THAT CANCER. MMS KILLS THE CANCER PLEOMORPHIC MICROORGANISM BUT THERE IS MUCH OTHER HEALING THAT NEEDS TO GO ON THAT ONLY PROTEIN CAN DO.

Sorry to disagree, but for many years back before 1985 my doctor friend with who I worked healed hundreds of cancer cases and he always insisted that they begin eating red meat immediately. I helped him for years and he had tremendous success. Hundreds of enzymes are generated by the human body because they are needed and evey one of them are made from protein.

Back in 1970 I developed a questionnaire of 200 questions concerning the health of the body. This questionnaire gave an extremely accurate indication of the health index of a human body. An example of some of the questions were: Do you eyes hurt when you go out into the Sun? and Do you get athletes feet? Do you have sores in your mouth? Do you sunburn easily? Do you occasionally have heart burn? Are you constantly catching colds? Do you sleep well at night? and on and on for 200 questions. All of these questions are indications of nutritional deficiencies including protein and fats.

The point I am making is that I and the people helping me gave this questionnaire to thousands of people. The vegetarians were the ones that always came out with the worst score. I made this into a computer program for chiropractors, dieticians, doctors, and other health care professionals and sold it for years. We always found that vegetarians and their children were in very poor shape as far as nutritional deficiencies and their children were continually sick.

Lately there are some cases where vegetarians do much better than back then, but still many are in pretty bad shape. But that is definitely not something a person sick with cancer should do. A cancer patient needs all the help he can get and protein is one of the biggest things on the list.

BUT, OF COURSE, THE MMS PROTOCOL 2000 IS THE MOST IMPORTANT AND THE BATHS AND SPRAY, AND OTHER PROTOCOLS IN MY BOOK SUCH AS THE BAG AND PROTOCOL 3000. And remember alway, always when giving all the various protocols stay below the level where one is feeling more sick. When nausea shows up or diarrhea, reduce the amount of MMS, but do not stop unless the nausea is extreme and then only stop for a short while and then continue back, but taking less MMS.

Well, good luck. Bishop Jim Humble

Hi, jemco
Here is another post of Jim's that I found in regards to meat and cancer

In my opinion the cabbage and juice do little or no good. Do the opposite. You need lots and lots of protein to really clean the cancer out. No one has proven cabbage is a cancer fighter. Lots of alternate health people write up their opinion and possibly a number of medical people who want to lead you astray. I have treated many people for cancer and in my opinion, probably as good as anyone, you need at least a pound of red meat a day and lots of fat to go with that, and don't worry about the vegetables. Eat a few, but the fat and protein are what is going to do the job of getting you well along with MMS, and the Rife machine.

However, don't jump right into the red meat. Take about two weeks to be eating that much a day. Consider that when you weigh the red meat that a pound of red meat is actually 80% water. Water does not cook out, that is what you are eating when you eat it. Thus you are actually eating 12.8 ounces of water when you eat a 16 ounce steak. So in actual fact you are only eating 3.2 actual ounces of meat. You need up to twice the 16 ounce steak but a lot of it can come from other animal sources such as cottage cheese, fish, eggs, full fat yogurt.

Get the book "The 24-HOUR DIET" by Brian Scott Peskin as it will tell you exactly what you need to kill the cancer if there is any left, but you still need that protein for health. Sorry, there is really no actual clinical trials anywhere proving vegetables fight cancer, and with the millions of people who have tried to fight cancer that way, not many success stories. I say less than 1% success stories from those who tried.

As always with love,
Bishop Jim Humble

Rainbow Fighter, I thank you for your information. However we can only choose one course of treatment and I have already experienced the wonderful benefits of Jim Humble's information in MMS and now CDS, so I choose to go with that.

Veronika, these are exactly the posts I was looking for and I am grateful for your help.

A book I found most helpful is "Deep Nutrition: why your genes need traditional foods" - written by Catherine Shanahan. She is both an MD (family practice) and a Cornell trained genetic researcher. And yes, she recommends meat, also. She does say that it is best if organic, and definitely, as our various traditions have in the past, include organ meats. After reading her book, I started making soup from whole chickens, and would cook them slowly until the bones became so soft I could chew the marrow. Got real fond of that marrow <G>. As long as you chew well, there are lots of bones that can be eaten from a chicken <G>. She also likes fermented foods - like sauerkraut - and so on. The book is an easy read, even the technical parts.

I find that foods are one of those things that people have strong beliefs about, so I try not to force mine on others. Fortunately, mine follow Jim's. I do know that there are times when I just WANT something green! Sometimes I just WANT some meat. I tend to listen to those wants.
