I had brain fog when I started to take the mms also. I had a suspicion that it was candida or some other fungus or mold or something that was being killed off in my b rain. It ended up breathing the fumes of the activated mms into my nasal passages. My nasal drip immediately went away. A pain developed deep inside the right side of my brain. It was constant and kind of like a knife stuck there. I continued to breath the vapor into my nasal passages for each dose of mms I mixed. It is finally going away. The brain fog went away immediately after breathing it the first time. I went off of sugar and meat and milk products for four days and felt increasingly better. I had to go beck to eating yogurt because I developed an acid stomach when I raised the dosage. I have a much lighter case of brain fog now and have been thinking faster. I will go down to a low dose and get back on the diet and see how that goes. My skin is getting better. (Had a lot of little bumps like small round white balls all over it. Now they are falling off)) In Chinese medicine the skin is an extension of the lungs. I did breath some vapor into my lungs, intentionally. I have have had a long history of bronchitis and pneumonia. (I am 60 years old) I think the lung problems were due to growing up with smoking parents and breathing in a lot of bad stuff while doing construction and remodeling work. I started to get anxiety attacks in the last couple of years. I had one the other night after eating a lot of ice cream. I took a large dose of mms the next day and again breathed the fumes. When I have anxiety attacks I feel as if I am drowning. Now my lungs feel very clear and my wife says that I am not snoring. No anxiety attacks. Do you think it was candida?

I am no longer breathing the fumes into my lungs, but I do breathe a little into my sinuses. They are extremely clear, as opposed to what I have been used to during the majority of my life.

This has been my first week on MMS. I seems to be a very intuitive thing.

Isn't the brain made up of a lot of sugars?? That is what I have heard. When I used to drink coffee with sugar, the fog went away.

Lightfoot,

Like Michael, I too have been thinking about Candida Albicans as a probable cause of the trouble. I seem to remember that candida is difficult to get rid of and the larger doses are probably what smokes them out. I will try a strict anti candida diet with caprylic acid supplements, but above all at least three times a day MMS, 15 drops activated.
Candida produces a poison called acetaldehyde, which is related to formaldehyde and can cause several problems and also in the brain so if indeed MMS helps killing candida, it could explain the clearing up of the brain.
It so far never happened to me, because I never dosed for more than 8 drops of MMS.
I have had this brainfog for years so it will probably take some time for me to see results, but I will be back.

Good luck to all of you,

Sikke the strandjutter

thanks all for your posts.
brain fog can certainly have more than one cause, in my case the brainfog feels a little bit like a headache with out alot of pain, sort of numb, hard to think of right words, read technical data, unmotivated. and this bf seemed to go away relatively quickly. i wonder if the mms was binding with something that was causing it.

pam, that is great information, i am looking forward to reading it.

michael, i have heard many comment that their skin improves on mms.

strandjutter, very interested to see how that dosage of 15drps 3x a day works.
please post how that goes.

Wow! That is some insightful information. I only got up to 10 drops, but I was sniffing it into my nasal passages too, so that might have gotten me up there. Today I had no brain fog and no pain. Went back down to about 3 drops every two hours. I must mention that it was after the first time sniffing it that I started getting strong pains in my right hemisphere. I had my wife do some acupressure in me last night and I believe that might have facilitated the brain matter in getting back to a normal electronic wave pattern and consequently to start healing. Cool thing is: I don't squint as though I am looking through muddy water or harsh sunlight without sunglasses.

Hello Lightfoot (and M.Marsdale)--
Just wanted to comment that the brain fog can indeed be MOLD/FUNGAL related. I got several bad exposures to yukky moldy haybales (in face breathing the dusts), and it really got to me. Long down-hill progression...affected memory, multi-tasking ability, presence of mind. No help for 6 yrs; finally found an MD who knew some about mold and prescribed anti-fungal med for me. This and other things helped a long slow uphill progress, but not a cure. MMS (thanks, Jim!) really started to kick this malady's buns!!! I went on CDS, cuz I could take larger doses without dig. syst. upset. Far as I can tell, for practical purposes, after 13 yrs of struggle -- MMS/CDS has killed it off!!!

Lightfoot500,

Wow! too bad it is just short term, but perhaps eventually we will figure out how to keep the fog away on a permanent basis.

I suffer from that as well, and your success reminded me of a one time experience I had with gingko.

Some time in the 90's my folks had told me it was good for memory etc, so I said what the heck, may as well see what happens.

OMG...I can hardly explain how I felt. I describe it to those who are interested, that it felt like I went from a lawnmower for a brain to a maserati for a brain....but then later on, I got this pain at the top/crown of my head and it really hurt....slowly the pain went away and my lawnmower brain was back. I did not have the presence of mind to record my thoughts while my mind was clear and in overdrive but I seemed to have temporarily understood lots of things which of course I have forgotten.....perhaps I was accessing my spiritual brain/mind which I believe is a wealth of knowledge, but we aren't allowed conscious access to it while we are in these space suits we all call bodies. But I have no proof of that, just speculating out loud. Tried as I did, I never got to experience that mind again.

Back to the brain fog.....I will try what you did, activate mms and mix with dmso and apply it to my legs....nothin' like a little experimentation to get the blood flowing :woohoo: :)

thanks for sharing

I recently came upon MMS and FGHP therapy at the same time. And NOW more recently, I stumbled into old therapies, like turpentine!
And I always support peoples right to choose whichever therapy they see fit to take!

youtube- daniels, why turpentine is good for your health most excellent info with instructions and warnings for proper preparation prior to using turp should you choose to do so.
diamond g in georgia was the best turp I found.
