Dear friends:
Recently I begun to make my own MMS (after a bit of struggle to get the NaCLO2 - It is very difficult in my country).
Nevertheless, I found myself immersed in calculations to figure it out how to get, properly, the correct amount of water, NaCOL2, bottle sizes, etc. and the quantity of MMS produced from a fixed supply of Sodium Chlorite (400 gr in my case).
So, using the data Mr. Humble offers in his book, I developed an EXCELL data sheet to do all the calculus for me.
It worked just fine because it calculated how much MMS I produced with the 400 gr of NaCLO2. The actual result was 1,150 cc (1.15 lt) of MMS, and the calculated result was 1,187 cc. (I suppose that the difference came from some liquid loss during manipulation).
Anyway, I uploaded the Excell worksheet so anybody can use it, Just let me know if I have to improve something, or if the results are not accurate enough
.
Ciao

Hi Edgar and wellcome
Nice job you have done. I am wondering if you could provide some
more explanations on what you mean for expl.,on the chart'"Bottle size
& Qty Required for Protocol 1000".
" 2 0z 2,8 bot X Prot 1000 - 3 "
For some of us it would be much easier if the above line was
also given a written explanation on what each number means.
Thanks

Hi Charlotte:
The Excel file was done in Office 2010. Probably there is an option to save it in a format compatible with older versions. I will check. Ciao

Hi Rainbow F.:
You are right. Due to lack of space I used some abbrev.
Well here we go:
If you put "2" on the cell for bottles in Oz, the spreadsheet calculates the number of bottles of 2 Fl Oz of MMS for ONE Protocol 1000.
In this case the result is 2.8 Bottles for one Protocol 1000, and we round it to 3. That's the meaning of that:
If you change the size of the bottle to, let's say 6, then Excel give you 0.9 bottles of 6 Fl Oz required for 1 PROTOCOL 1000. On the right you will see the number rounded to 1.
As you can see it is more efficient (from a mathematical point of view) to use 6 Oz bottles. But that's only a matter of taste, transportation, etc.
Well, thanks for the reply.

Thanks Peter & Steve:
I will check the spreadsheet again to assure that everyone can open it in any Excel version.

Hi Edgar
Thank you very much for your replay. It is much better. Still i think there should be
some more improovements in Order to be perfect. For Instance, same explanations as you
did for the 1st chart it would be a grate help. Also for us Europians, it would be a lot easier
If you include Kilos-grammes -mgs for mass and Litters - mls for liquids.
This way i think every one could easily use your Calculator without the risk of
making any kind of mistake during MMS production.
Excelent work it is though Edgar.
Thank you so much

I no longer support or am willing to be beholding to Microsoft / Bill Gates. I run Ubuntu as an operating system and Libre Office, The suite of programs (instead of MS Office) including Calc (instead of Excel), to my experience it can do everything just as well. It is also free (donations accepted)
