Do NOT use Sodium hypochlorite - that is NOT MMS2.

I am also having trouble with the Cristal Powder of Sodium Cholrite... When I add the destilled water, it becommes cloudy, and remains that way. When I mix it equal parts with 50% Citric Acid, it turns a light yellow color... Not the dark caramel color I see on the video. What am I doing wrong?

I'm not entirely sure what you're doing wrong. Are you sure you have a 28% sodium chlorite mixture (by weight)? Have you kept it out of UV light since making it? (I keep mine in a cupboard) - My understanding is that citric acid is only good for about 2 years - how old is your citric acid? I'm hoping that Steve will come in here with more suggestions, because I use SC in flakes and I'm thinking you use the powder - and he has more experience with that.. I know that when I make my 28% citric acid mixture, it also starts cloudy when I add the distilled water. I have to dissolve it, again, with heat on an electric burner on low.

Importance of Stomach Acid
Published on: April 5, 2026
You have heard it said, “You are what you eat”, but in my opinion, it’s more accurate to say “You are what you absorb.” Stomach acid plays an important role in what nutrients you absorb from the food you eat. When someone is deficient in stomach acid the vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other nutrients …
