Not to worry about the dilution, Healthy, the goal is the number of drops. 3 drops are 3 drops, whether in 4 oz or 6 oz or 8oz - you take your liquid with the MMS1, not after. You can drink additional water, if you wish, immediately.

There are 2 excellent CDS shot glass method threads here:

Hi Pam

Thank you for all the info.Still a bit confused on the size of the jar for the CDS .If I take 1000ml plastic jar with 900ml DW (dont know if it is marked (1000ml) like that in our country) with 40ml MMS and 40 ml citric acid do i just leave 100ml space for the gas at the top ?

Its still very cold here and although Spring has just started we still have many cold and windy days.So would this work in a cupboard or do i need something to keep it warm.Home is very cold, due to asbestos roof.

With this instructions to make the CDS do i still need to purchase Chlorine test strips(which i find is very pricey now being on retirement) or is there a way to make it without test strips?

Greetings
Healthy

If you are following Charlotte's directions, you should be fine without testing strips, because she has tested. 1000mL is pretty close to a quart. In the US, quite a few jars are marked as 1000mL - It's an issue for the US because we're not really on the mL measuring system, but since many foods are both national and international, they tend to be marked both ways. Glass Measuring containers *and some plastic ones) do come in mLs, though. Just be sure you get one that's a quart or 4 cups, and there should be mL marks there. I'm not sure what you are dealing with in - what I'm assuming - is Australia - (that part of your profile is not filled out, so I have to guess) -

My home tends to stay cold, too. Down in the 60'sF - It worked in my kitchen cupboard.

So, yes, you leave that 100mL space at the top. The gas needs to come out of the mix and go down into the water - so you don't want any part of the shot glass or lid you're using for the shot glass equivalent to be touching the lid.

Blanket around bottle will be fine - or just put it in a styrofoam cooler, that might help, too.

Charlotte's thread is here:
