In another thread, I was commenting that the original poster's problem with MMS might be due to something besides "added Vitamin C" neutralizing the MMS. After commenting on how many things have ascorbic acid in them as a preservative, I got to thinking about some references I'd encountered advising avoiding things like coffee, chocolate, carbonated drinks, and a few other things which I'm not recalling at the moment. So far, I haven't run into a problem with any dose of MMS I've taken not working; but, it could just be that the timing worked out, despite my ignorance...
For everyone's benefit, could those who know list anything besides ascorbic acid that might either neutralize MMS; or, weaken it? Also, if you know why it does so, that might be helpful, as well.
For example, is the problem with coffee due to an acid that's in the coffee; or, does it have something to do with the caffeine?
I'm suspecting that it might be something to do with the PH; but, that's just a speculation...
Also, are there differences between what will neutralize MMS1 and MMS2? Is it only when the MMS is taken orally; or, do they have the same effect when used in other ways, such as topically w/DMSO, etc.
