Reliable test strips was created by HappyHeart
Does anyone have advice on high range test strips for testing the ppm of CL02 in the distilled water preparation. I am new at this and need more LaMotte strips but they are hard to find. So I have ordered from another company: ITS Waterworks. Hope they are accurate. Don't want to overdose my cat. Thanks

I stick with the LaMotte #3002  My last purchase on Amazon cost around $35.00 for 50 test stripes. I had to monitor Amazon for about a week to get that price.

One usually gets what they pay for (not always) but this is one area I'm not willing to settle for a lower cost.

All the best,
Jim

Any reason you can't buy from Amazon?

If you cut those CLO2 test strips in half lengthwise, you will have 100 test strips.

I don't like the Waterwork strips. I ordered more LaMotte but it will take a few days to get here. I realized too late that my few LaMotte strips were from an out of date bottle. The seller sent what he had on hand when I bought the concentrated CDS from him. Thanks for your input.

On 10/27/2023, I ordered LaMotte's InstaTest Analytic High Range Chlorine Dioxide test strips, 50 to a pack, from Grainger www.grainger.com , for $17.85 + tax and shipping. Total: $30.78.
It is Item # 4EVX3 in their online catalog. I am very pleased with their service. I received the product very quickly - about 3 days. These can be ordered on a "guest" account.

When I called LaMotte, they referred me to their distributors, which were two pool chemical companies. Those companies would not sell to me without an account for very large pool orders. So I remembered ordering chemicals when I taught science years ago, and found Grainger.
