My friend Gary posted this neat testimonial in another group:
Had a friend taking coumadin a blood thinner. We showed him all the side effects. He stopped taking it and was taking cayenne garlic supplement. He went for a blood test as monthly as usual. His doctor called him a couple days later and told him to stop taking the coumadin, his blood was perfect! Take a look at the expensive harmful drug and the inexpensive spice/food.
More info from Gary on natural substitutes for blood thinners such as Plavex.
in the arteries or surrounding tissue prevents the blood from moving freely around the body. Individuals with heart conditions use blood thinners to assist the heart. Blood thinners thin the blood, to help it move throughout the body. Although many doctor prescribe the blood thinner Coumadin, there are natural blood thinners that do the same thing.
Red clover is a sweet and tasty legume that blooms in spring and early parts of the summer. It has an historical use as a blood cleaner and blood thinner. According to Matthew Wood in his book, "The Book of Herbal Wisdom," red clover works on the blood much like it does on the lymphatic system, it removes waste and filters out blocks in the arteries. Red clover works in alcohol tinctures, but most people prefer it in tea form to provide the blood anti-coagulant properties.
According to Cayenne Pepper Guide, cayenne is used from everything from low blood pressure to reducing HDL from the body. Cayenne has capsicum in it that thins the blood and improves circulation. Taken internally on food or in capsules, cayenne purges toxins from the system and reduces inflammation.
Herbalist label chamomile as a hot herb, meaning it helps to remove chills and fevers. It is normally used as a calming herb, and relaxant. Chamomile is a flower with natural compounds similar to Coumadin and allows the arteries to relax. Chamomile taken in tea form provides the blood with natural Coumadin properties to help the blood move more freely and the heart work more efficiently.

cardiologist prescribed plavix and I started on it after about 2 or 3 months, I started a nose bleed. It would not stop no matter what we did for it. So I was rushed to the hospital.
They did everything known to medicine to stop the bleeding, including air inflatable plugs, holding my head back etc. etc. They admitted me to a room and during the night it started all over again that room looked like a slaughter house. Next morning an EYE nose throat specialist came in and he started another protocol that finally controlled the bleeding. I was there for 3 days and for awhile there I thought I was going to bleed to death. Dr said one more start up and I would require a transfusion. Needless to say NO MORE PLAVIX for me. I now use Nattokinase, a fermented soy product that does the same thinning effect for less than 10% the cost of plavix.
