Diatomaceous Earth for Vitiligo and Psoriasis

I know they use diatomaceous earth in healing centre in Bulgaria. Can anyone enlighten me as to its use for Vitiligo and psoriasis ? My friends daughter has vitiligo and husband has psoriasis. I am not familiar with diatomaceous earth other than its use for parasites.

I've moved this into alternative health methodologies - because I've never heard (in the Church) about using DE for these issues. There will be a newsletter out soon about a DVD (downloadable from payment button) with various protocols from the Church. I wrote Jon Grenon and asked if the Bulgarian protocols would be on it, and he responded back and said yes - so maybe something will show up there.

But it would be nice if someone could shed some light on diatomaceous earth for vitililgo especially.
I have read about this somewhere but have not been able to recall where the information is.

From what I read it apparently is a copper defeciency that needs correction. If that is true then diatomaceous earth will not help.

Woofy - I don't know about vitiligo, but when I was reading up on the history of arthritis and the treatment with Borax to eliminate the mitochondrial pathogens from the synovial fluids in joints - the discussions mentioned successes with psoriasis in the same treatment where Boron seems to efficacious in some cases. Never seen anything about DE being helpful with psoriasis though?
