I fast on wheat grass juice every few weeks for about 3 - 4 days.

As I bake my own bread and I love toast with cream cheese and chilli jams with my coffee - I soon fail the fast and get back to my favorite snacks.

But ZnzMagic is right - green smoothies are a miracle every person should discover at some stage in any illness treatment.

Oh - and pam is 100% right. Don't try the agro chemical cold chain store veggies! Fertilization and chemical spraying with zero crop rotation and zero soil rest is the main cause for deficiency of food today!!

NPK fertilizer abuse along with Monsatan's glycophosphste (Roundup) is the biggest cause of cancer in the modern diet today. With so much Phosphorous (P) in the food - it has become highly acidic, which stimulates pathogen growth and results in the obvious dis-ease chain the body encounters!

Has to be organic vegetables. If you can't get it - grow it!

Thank you so much for posting! Great link too! I already make smoothies and veg juice and always organic - very important. If one can't get/or afford organic I will post a way of soaking them first to get rid of the chemicals - I just have to find the info again. I am very lucky to live in a place where organic and (even better) biodynamic food and veges are in plentiful supply. Coconut oil is an absolute must in my opinion too!

Thank you very much ZnzMagic for this post on Green for Life. After reading your story, I've bought the book and a strong Blender and the magic seems to work on me too.
After about a week, my troubled gut seems on the way to more normal behaviour and I feel safe again to leave the house for longer spells without worrie about imediate availability of a toilet.
