I made my first batch of Umlingo today. A unique taste sensation , to be sure! Adding all of the optional xtras brought the total volume for the posted recipe to nearly 2 L / 8cups, consistency of a thick shake and colour of tomato soup. I poured off 2 cupsful and saved for salad dressing and added 2 cupsful of water to thin the mixture for drinking. I definitely won't need anything else to eat today! Thanx, Daud (David)
