New here.

I have an eco one hypochlorous acid generator. It makes a liter of hypochlorous acid solution in a few minutes from salt and vinegar. Can I simply ingest this solution instead of taking pool shock in capsules? And at what dosage and ppm?

You need to measure the pH of the HOCL produced by the Eco One generator.

If the pH of HOCL is outside the green (safe) area (see graph), I don't think it would be safe to ingest.

HOCL in the green pH zone should be diluted with water of the same pH.

If you ingest that mixture into stomach acid which has a pH of about 1, what will be the combined solution's pH?

Inquiring minds want to know.

This seems to be of interest as of late.

My 'guess' is that no one knows the actual answer.

But some might get close and be able to more or less kind of figure out a value.

The way JH suggests it be done must have been before (affordable) methods and
machines to create actual Hypochlorous Acid.

If someone is decent at Chemistry, they might be able to do some testing
and figure out a close approximate or something along those lines.

What do the people who make the generators say?
Or is it "only for external and non-internal use"?
