MMS1 solution weighs 1.22 x the weight of the same volume of water, so:

A 4 oz container of MMS weighs approx 118 grams (4 fluid oz of water) x 1.22 = 144 g

The 80% sodium chlorite powder (or flakes) will be 28% of that by weight, so 144 x .28 = 40.32 g

If you add a little over 40 grams of sodium chlorite to the bottle, and fill with distilled water to the bottom of the neck of the bottle, you will have MMS - "close enough for Jazz." Check the level of the water after the sodium chlorite dissolves and top up if needed.

The MMS is actually 22.4% sodium chlorite by weight as 80% sodium chlorite is about 20% salt to make it safe to transport and handle.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
