Help with using the Starting Procedure on a dog. was created by Barcode
My dog has Degenerative Myelopathy and I am about to start her on MMS. I have Jim's book "MMS Health Recovery Guidebook" and I have read Chapter 15 a number of times.
I also watched a video that Mark Grenon did on animals and he was using a syringe to give the MMS orally. I will also be using a syringe to give MMS orally to my dog.
The part I don't understand is it seems to me that I will be starting off with an amount of MMS that would be too small to transfer to a syringe. My dog is a 40kg German Shepherd so will be activating 8 drops of MMS and then into 120mls of water. From this I will be giving her 2 drops up to 6 drops on the Starting Procedure.
How do I give her 2 drops in a syringe? Do I add these 2 drops to more water and then put it in the syringe? I can't seem to find that in Chapter 15.
Thanks in advance
Bob

Please, I need help with this. I've tried putting 8 activated drops in her food and eventually got her to eat it by me feeding her. But I can't do this every hour so it has to be by syringe.
If I start off with 2 activated drops in the syringe, what is the least amount of water I need to add, given that I can't force 120ml of water into her every hour.
I need to start this straight away as she is having a lot of trouble walking now.
Thank you
Bob

After activating MMS drops, try adding 3 to 5 ml of water and squirt that down your dogs throat. If she balks due to the smell or taste, then add just MMS drops to water in a syringe. Dogs usually have a lot of stomach acid, so unactivated MMS should work fine. No taste or smell problem. MMS1 is about 10% activated at 30 seconds and the rest should be activated in stomach acid.
