When activating a 3 drop dose I don't get the amber color afterwards, just yellow. How do you determine whether your sodium chlorite is still good

If you make MMS1 in a container with a large bottom area and you don't look through the SCS horizontally, you may only see a yellow color. Try making MMS1 in a narrow container like a glass test tube or in a glass dropper and look through it. It should have an amber color.
You could also make MMS1, add to 4 fl oz (120 ml) of water and test with CLO2 test strips. Should get up to 25 ppm.
