I was wondering can MMS reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptives?

Don't know. Mark has jokingly said it does because Jon's wife conceived while on MMS and birth control pills. I've not heard it from a number of people (which you would expect, given the number who take birth control).
Given that birth control pills are not 100% regardless, and that sometimes people get sidetracked and occasionally forget one, or take it late, it's hard to know exactly why she conceived (other than the obvious reason, exposure!)
If you are really concerned, I would use a secondary method of birth control while on the MMS.

There have been reports that MMS can reduce effectiveness of birth control, yes, for sure.
