I am going to have my dog spayed and would like to know if someone can comment on using mms spray or DMSO to spray on the incision to help it heal. Would this sting in any way. Also is pharmaceutical grade DMSO suitable for internal use for adults and animals.
Any other comments regarding efforts to help the healing process would be greatly appreciated.

I sprayed MMS and DMSO on my horse and he did get antsy. I have sprayed it on my own cuts and sometimes it would sting slightly, other times it would itch a little bit. I did put MMS directly on a cut and it did sting quite a bit but stopped the bleeding.

Both pharmaceutical or BP grades are what most of us use Bill. As Horsefeathers offers - it is safe at low dosage and should not sting for too long. You can obviously try the application on a small part of your own skin first and check the result. I definitely have had good results with a 5 drop MMS activated and adding 5 drops of DMSO with sufficient water to fill around 50ml inside a small spray bottle on my animals with surface wounds. When I had my ACD Healer spayed three months ago - I did this treatment, and she healed in 7 days after which I removed the stitches myself at 12 days.

Colloidal silver is another excellent option I have made use of.

Good luck with the op on the doggy.
