I mentioned when I posted about a tropical parasite problem for a friend of mine that I'd been given a suggestion from Bruce Tanner to use the MMS1 skin solution to irrigate my sinuses using my Neti pot. I've done this once and had to add more water than up to 2 oz because when I tried to pour the solution in to my nostril, it was burning before the liquid even went in. Afterwards, it took a while for me to stop blowing my nose and for my headache to stop. I could feel a burning up into my scalp as well which is where Bruce feels I might have candida. How much water should I be using with the neti pot? I guess I forgot to ask that question. :) I've ordered DMSO which Bruce recommended I used with this solution. Does everyone end up smelling like garlic or at badly? I already have problems with my breath because of the sinus problem, I don't need to more problems to deal with. Any suggestions?

Bruce also said about my scalp that, if I do have candida on the scalp, that it will quite a while for it to be resolved on the MMS1 solution. Previously, I did the MMS1 for a little over 3 weeks and there was not help. I also sprayed the topical solution on my scalp and let it set several times not realizing that it could possibly change my hair color at the roots. It took a while for that to grow out. :) :) The solution didn't make my scalp feel worse, it just didn't take the itch away. Bruce also mentioned something about using Boric acid as a fungicide. Can anyone give me further info?

Also, my mom passed from Alzheimers Disease and I have problems with memory and focus.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide. I appreciate it very much!

Blessings!

Hi, Jan.
When I do a neti pot, I use a the full pot, twice! So I'm using 2 cups of water, one cup for each side. I make a saline solution, then add the MMS to it. I always start small - using first 2 drops of activated MMS for 2 cups of water, and then increasing. There is a little burn - but the saline should help.
Here's what JH has to say about it in his book - The Master Mineral Solution of the Third Millennium this is in the free download of the first 50 pages or so. As you can see, he is using considerably higher doses than I start out with. But I have some pretty severe sinus issues with allergies and Eustachian tube disorder.

• Nose and sinus problem – Make a 6-drop dose in half
a glass of water. Lie down and put 6 drops in each nostril
every few hours until well. Or use a quart of water with 32
drops of activated MMS in it. Rest your head down in the sink
sideways and with a hot water bottle, use the hose to drain
the water into the upper nostril and allow it to flow out of the
lower nostril. Then turn your head over and do the same with
the other side.
• Sinus congestion -- Four drops in half a glass of water. Lie
on your back and put several drops in each nostril; or drain
several glasses to a quart through one nostril and out the
other 4 or 5 times daily until the sinus congestion is gone.

I have no problem with smells when I use DMSO, unless I just don't smell it. No one has complained - but the cats like fishy smells, so they wouldn't. I have not noticed an unusual tendency to jump in my lap, though. :P It depends on your individual body chemistry.

Here's a link on using Boric acid for medical use. www.ehow.com/about_5562013_medical-use-boric-acid.html

I was reading just yesterday about using Ashwaganda and Alzheimers. Here's a good link. It's high in antioxidents, so you would probably best use it at bedtime if you're doing MMS. ezinearticles.com/?Ashwagandha-and-Alzheimers-Disease&id=3672439

Hey, Pam!

Thanks for the helpful info. Was wondering, since it's fungi that's causing my longterm sinus problems, how often should I do the Neti pot to be able to rid myself of the fungi?

Appreciate your response.

Blessings!

Jan

PS: Sorry to hear about all your sinus and ear problems! I pray God's Blessings on you!

I wish I could give you a definitive answer. I would do it 2x a day - but it may be necessary to do it more often than that. If anyone else has dealt with fungi in the sinuses, please feel free to jump in!

Hi, Pam!

Thanks for the birthday greeting! I did look at the boric acid article, but it doesn't say anything specific about using it for candida and the type of mixture. Is there any other info that the forum can offer?

Thanks so much for everyone's help!

No, the article was talking about using Boric Acid as a fungicide, which you had mentioned was an issue.
