Does anyone know if MMS will effect a Planters Wart. The doctor told my daughter that surgery was the only option. It is on the ball of her foot

Planters Wart are viral infections of the foot and are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). The invading virus can infect the skin on the sole or toes of the foot, producing a lump or outgrowth. These lesions often have black dots in them due to the capillary vessels supplying the area. Warts are painful when squeezed and if present on weight bearing surfaces, are often painful to walk on. Treatment varies with the size, severity, location of the plantar wart in addition to the patient’s health status.
She should take MMS orally and soaking would help as well. Not sure to what extent it would help.

Hi Boonpaw
My 12 year old daughter had one on the sole of her foot that grew to about 20mm across over a few months.
Our doctor had tried a few things but they made little difference.
I read somewhere that apple cider vinegar works.
This is what I did.
Fold a tissue so it is about 8 layers thick and a little larger than the wart.
Soak it in the apple cider vinegar leaving it very wet but not dripping.
Place it over the wart then put a few bandaids over the tissue to hold it in place.
We did this at night time only as my daughter found it too uncomfortable to walk with the extra thickness
of the bandage pressing on the wart.
In a few days the wart had died.
The skin around and underneath was clean and healthy and my daughter enjoyed picking out the dead wart.
This left some quite deep holes but they have since grown over and now you cannot even tell where the wart was.
I used Braggs apple cider vinegar that I bought from a health food shop but I guess any good quality apple cider vinegar would work.
hope it works for you
