Hello,

When making CDS, is the heat used to increase air flow alone - or does the increased temperature of the MMS/acid mixture somehow give off more chlorine dioxide at higher temperatures?

I plan to use an aquarium pump to increase air flow when making my CDS. Would using heat on top of this be redundant?

Thanks.

I don't think it will be redundant. Heat affects the off-gassing (increased temp=more gas), the airflow moves it across the tube and into the bottle on the other side.
