Question for CDS was created by Emmanuel
Yesterday, I made my own CDS following Jim's and Andreas' youtube video.
I tasted it myself, 25ppm solution.
It was OK to drink, but I could still smell a little bit of chlorine.
Is it supposed to be tasteless, and smell-less ?

No, the smell is definitely there - it is the gas escaping from the solution you've got it instilled into - (my refrigerator definitely smells of CDS
- I figure it will keep things from going bad so fast
) - It's another reason it's a good thing to keep it in the fridge - the warmer the solution is, the more it off-gasses. BUT, the taste is ever so slight, compared to MMS.
