Tested positive for Lyme three weeks ago and began to make an effort to up my hourly dosage of MMS. I was able to get to 5 drops per hour in 2 weeks with no problem and have done a few 6 drop doses with DMSO added with no adverse reactions. This morning however, after the third dose of 5 drops, nausea, diarrhea and dizziness hit like a storm and put me out of commission for the remainder of the day. Here it is, 14 hrs later and I'm still queasy and dizzy and have had no solid food since the poop-storm hit this morning. I feel very tired and irritable. I don't want to feel any worse than I do now. Is it ok to lay off the MMS for a full day without losing much ground? Maybe an MMS bath would be in order in lieu of oral MMS? I also do the Vit C & Himalayan Salt protocol for Lyme--but not where it will interfere with the MMS--however I did not do it today.

In my opinion you got to 5 drops per hour too fast.

It is taking me 23 days to get to 22 drops total or about 2.5 drops per hour 8 times a day. And yesterday and today I feel very sick
with nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and tired. So I am slowing down, taking less. I also take 2 capsules of MMS2 and DE. Will be
adding the calcium bentonite clay soon.

I hear that with Lyme a person has so many pathogens and it might be too much too fast. Jim Humble's book warns that when we feel too sick
to slow down to where we feel ok again and then start going up.

I hope other members with more experience will give their input. Try the Vit C 2 hours after your last dose of MMS because that will help you with the detox.

Thanks for the reply, I hope you are feeling much better today. I cut my doses to 4 drops every hour and am not in the hell-hole anymore :) I've noticed that my appetite is non-existent, yet I don't seem to be feeling any ill effects from not eating. My husband keeps harping on me to eat something, but I'm respecting my body and just munching on apples occasionally. I feel tired, but consider that to be normal under the circumstances. What bothers me the most is the constant dizziness that keeps me from driving; I can't even ride very far in a vehicle without becoming car-sick despite the anti-nausea wrist bands that I purchased. This is tough on my psyche since I've always been the active, go everywhere, do everything woman who has hardly ever missed a day working out in more than 30 yrs. This is a humbling experience, however it is a blessing because I have a compassion for people that I never had prior to this illness.

Gosherrygo,
I am sorry for what you are going through.

I am doing great today! took less yesterday and today started taking the same as Wednesday.

My appetite fluctuates, sometimes I don't feel like eating anything like you.

You were so healthy until now and that makes it twice as hard. I hear you, same thing with me, full of energy, never took any medicines until almost 5 years ago.

Now I also have much more compassion for people that are ill and even started praying for them and for the millions that are sick around the world.
