The idea of whether to start at 1 or 3 drop doses (or in between) is because when you start at a lower dose, you are less likely to have a herxheimer reaction - it's your choice, but if you have any nausea or diarrhea, you should reduce your dose.
Getting 8 doses a day is not difficult. Say you are on a 3 drop dose, 8 hours a day. Get a quart water bottle (not metal), mark it off into eight 4oz "servings" (if the bottle is the same size up and down, just eyeball it, if not, then use a half cup measure and measure in a half cup, and make a mark where that comes to, add another half cup, make another mark, etc. Some bottles will already have markings on them. Then, be sure it's dry inside.
Take 24 drops of MMS and 24 drops of 50% citric acid and put them in the bottle. Swirl it a bit and let it wait 20 seconds. Then add water up to the 32oz line. During the course of the day, drink 4 oz from the bottle every hour. If you can keep it in the fridge, so much the better, if not, you'll be OK. Be sure it is tightly capped. With Herpes, you start with protocol 1000, which is 8 doses, and only go to 2000 (the 10 doses) if the 8 doses do not work. It's covered on page 96 in Jim's new book - which I imagine is part of the free download. (I got the whole book without doing the free first part, so I'm not sure.)
Eating can be done on the half hour. Just no orange juice. Any vitamins, and particularly C and E should be taken 2 hours after your last dose. I'm not familiar with Oxy Powder, but if it works on oxidation principles, it would probably be best to do it first - or after, but not at the same time.
Good luck!
