Chlorine Dioxide is a powerful oxidant. DMSO is a powerful anti-oxidant.

Why are we mixing these two substances together?

Please explain because I don't understand how they survive together.

In brief BIll, we mix with the DMSO for its ability to deliver substances (in our case CLO2) to the bloodstream transdermally, additionally DMSO is know to enhance the efficacy of may different medication and supplements, and this appears to be the case with MMS. As for the CLO2s sruvival, i remember Jim discussing in one of his lectures that you only have about 15 to 20 minutes or so to get the MMS into your system once they've been mixed, as the DMSO will eventually neutralize the effectiveness of the CLO2.

So from my perspective we're basically trying to get as much of the increased benefits as possible from the synergy that occurs in the early phases of the mixture. Hope that helps.

I suppose that when we add the DMSO to the CLO2 (equal drops & waiting 3 mins) and if we continue to generate CLO2 as a gas during the 3 min wait then at that point I suppose the CLO2 has not been nuetralized --- YET!

BUT, when it enters the body surely it must still nuetralize the effects of the CLO2 based on the matter and anti matter therories.

Just thinking out loud because I am sure people will ask me these same questions.

I have done repeated tests with mixing activated MMS1 solution with large amounts of DMSO (for example, approx 60 ml solution with 20 activated drops of MMS mixed with 15 ml of DMSO) kept in sealed jars for extended periods.

After up to 6 weeks, I haven't seen any diminishment in the yellow color of the solutions.

This leads me to conclude that DMSO does not neutralize chlorine dioxide (the source of the yellow color) in solutions.

Bruce, would that conclude that CLO2 is a more powerful oxidant than DMSO is an anti-oxidant?

Based on your findings.

Hi Bill,

My personal take is that MMS1 and DMSO are very different in their actions and properties. Both of them penetrate very deeply into body tissues, but MMS only persists for a short while, less than a hour, I think, while DMSO lurks in the background while it's being taken.

I don't think that the way DMSO works is very well understood, still. I haven't read Dr. Morton Walker's book - DMSO, Nature's Healer, yet, as my sweetie took it into work a while ago  - so I only know what I've read from a handful of articles. But it seems to have a lot of complex, almost "magical" actions in the body. It is more supportive of general health and of the immune system and other body systems and organs, where MMS seems to me more of an intervention when the body has gotten out of balance.

MMS/chlorine dioxide is, I think, much more straightforward, and is more for clearing out entrenched problems. MMS removes what's interfering with the immune system, nervous system, gut health, etc. and allows the body to return to natural functions. DMSO actually improves functions by supporting them.

I hope this is somewhat clear,
Bruce
