I have been using MMS1 for about a month, experimenting with different methods. Sometimes several drops a few times a day. Sometimes preparing a bottle so I could drink it hourly throughout the day. I have had many days of nausea, on and off, but nothing unmanageable. My health issues are many but mainly systemic candida or fungus, scalp fungus, chronic depression, hypothyroidism, very low energy, and 30 years of chronic insomnia, sometimes worse, sometimes better. Since starting the MMS1 (and eating a very low carb diet so as not to feed the fungus), my depression has cleared up and I'm feeling more positive and motivated about life than I have been in many years. My scalp fungus has cleared up. My energy levels are getting better although I take no thyroid medication because it worsens my insomnia. I have been on prescription sleeping medication for years and have been trying to get off. There have been a few times in the last 2 years when I was able to sleep enough without them, so this condition varies quite a bit and is unpredictable. My big current problem since starting the MMS1 is that although I feel better in every other way, my sleep is getting much worse. I can fall asleep easily but at this point after 2 or 3 hours I wake up and that is it. Now the sleep medications won't put me back to sleep. Could the MMS1 be neutrilizing the medications so they no longer work? Can the MMS1 itself cause sleep problems? Any ideas? I want to keep taking it because I see so many improvements otherwise but I can't function (and go to work) on a few hours of sleep. I don't know what to do at this point.

Hi Jacqueline,

I've heard that the pattern of waking up within a few hours of falling asleep is often due to liver toxicity. This will clear up as the use of MMS continues, but I think at this point your energy is starting to pick up as you detox and reduce the impact that the yeast and other pathogens are having, so the activity of your mind is probably having a bigger effect of preventing sleep.

I'm pretty sure that the MMS is not neutralizing your sleeping meds - the chlorine dioxide is long gone from your system by the time you're waking up in the wee hours.

Perhaps you should cut back on the amount of MMS you're taking per dose. Try to go to a level where you're not having any nausea, but work on keeping the doses as close to regular as clockwork as you can without stressing out or beating yourself up for failures.

You can probably work on an inner approach to letting sleep come. One thing that works for me is just watching my breath without trying to control it or make it "right." Also listening carefully to all the sounds around me (including my breath) - when I do that I often notice that the sound of my voice in my head really isn't there. It can also help to feel the energy throughout my body, moving the attention to where ever its drawn, feeling the edges around what I'm feeling and letting myself sink into the bed.

Let us know how it goes,
Bruce

Hi Jaqueline,

I can sympathize with having multiple symptoms and conditions like this and the difficulty of isolating causes and figuring out what is helping. As far as we know MMS1 does not cause sleep problems. But I think every case is individual and with a multifactorial situation like this anything can happen.

The MMS is supposed to be out of the blood in 1-2 hours after your last dose so if you take the meds after that then I think it is unlikely the MMS is neutralizing them. It does appear that taking the MMS is at least indirectly contributing to the insomnia. This is probably only temporary and maybe there are changes that could be made to allow you to continue using MMS to restore wellness.

Melatonin is supposed to be good for sleep problems, maybe taking that would help. Maybe switching to MMS2 at least during the week would make all the difference. Maybe reducing the dose of MMS and increasing it more slowly would still allow improvement and help with the insomnia. These are thoughts that come to mind, there must be many other possibilities.

Thanks for the testimonial about the improvement so far, that sounds very good. Please let us know how it goes.

To restored health,

Michael
