I have used MMS in years past. Never kept up with it but did purchase a 6-pack many years ago. I pulled a bottle out along with pack of citric acid crystals. Mixed up citric acid and made a solution. The mix did not turn yellow. I could only taste the citric acid and not the sodium chloride. Does this have a shelf life? There's no "best by" date.

Thank you.

Hi, if your MMS is past 5-6 years old it may have gone bad. If it's newer than that you can explain in some more detail how you mixed the citric acid and the dose/solution.
I've made a few mistakes myself over the years.

During recent testing I discovered that some MMS I had made 18 months prior, had lost some of its potency.

For long-term storage (~20 years) buy and store sodium chlorite flakes in glass bottles with plastic lids. And keep in a dark, cool location.
