Hi there folks. I have been reading Jim's book, purchased a bottle of mms and dmso as well as a scale, citric acid, sodium chlorite and other supplies. I am very interested in using miracle mineral solution but have a little bit of trepidation because it feels a little scary to handle what could be dangerous material w/o someone watching over my shoulder.

As a starter, my hubby and I did one drop an hour for four hours before bed. I felt a fizziness in my mouth after taking the supplement each time, like h2o2 swished in my mouth but not as extreme. Hubby became aware after the third drink. We both experienced a subtle lightheadedness. The next morning the inflammation of my ear was much reduced but I did not feel safe continuing so I am going back the the book to figure out the protocol for each of us. I guess that's where I have a question...should we do maintenance or Protocol 1000 plus skin spray?

My issues (f, 57): onset macular degeneration, pre-diabetes and eczema. Hubby (m, 64): spots of skin cancer. Both of us smoke marijuana. Is this a problem?

Any advice would be appreciated. I will keep you posted.

The recommended MMS activator is 4% HCL, "As a starter, my hubby and I did one drop an hour for four hours before bed." For starters, you should first follow the Starting Procedure, not start with 1 drop MMS1 doses. If you follow the HRP in the book, you will be fine. The following user(s) said Thank You: Marda

Thanks for info and prompt response. Why would citric acid be a problem?

Also, I want to correct myself - I have a bottle of activator and mms solution w/ directions to use it 1:1. I am using The Master Mineral of the Third Millennium as a resource. After reading the book, it seemed like the skin spray is the solution for the husband's skin cancer along with Protocol 1000. I'm not sure if I should do the adult maintenance or do Protocol 1000.

Had a look at the Health Recovery Guide. The Master Mineral book has directions for the Protocols as well as ailments. Is the Recovery Guide a must?

From AK's latest book on page 113:

"I want to point out that we no longer use 50% citric acid as an activator since the resulting solution’s pH is too acidic, promoting the growth of opportunistic bacteria like Citrobacter, which feed off of the citrate left over from the reaction. Citric acid is also the cause of an over-acidification of the intestine and has caused diarrhea. Being a slow acid, it is not as effective as 4% hydrochloric acid. And besides, our stomachs contain hydrochloric acid by nature."

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
