Hello, I am new to the concept of MMS...... Need help! can anyone please, answer me if MMS is effective with Sickle Cell Anemia?

Do you know if it is caused at least partially, by pathogens like viruses, parasites, fungus, etc.?

Since MMS is so helpful in killing pathogens, it would be my first choice. MMS also decreases inflammation throughout the body.

What are you doing at the moment for this condition?

I hope someone with more experience on SCA in the forum will answer.

Sickle cell anemia is a genetic decease, a condition where the red blood cell are shape like a sickle and anemic, they tend to break easily and their life spam is short, because of their shape they do not carry enough oxygen throughout the body, and also because of the shape they create chronic pain episodes.

My son is 23 years old and all his life he has suffered a lot sickle cell crisis and when he was 7 had a stroke, luckily he suffered no brain damage, but because of this he endured every three weeks for 8 years blood transfusion; causing him to have iron overload of 30,000. at the moment his iron level is 5000.

He is also suffering of necrosis of the hip, where his bone are getting thinner and eventually any person with this condition will have a hip replacement; he is in constant pain.

The cause of the decease is; both parents give a defective(sickle cell) gene to their unborn child, so 100% of this person's red blood cell are abnormal. in other words the bone marrow always manufacture sickle cell red blood cells.
we have been given a new treatment where the body will make fetal red blood cells(normal hemoglobin) and the crisis has decline to a minimum today of one to three crisis episode per year. If he stop the hydroxiurea this is the name of the new treatment pill, his body returns to its original manufacture.

apania, I'm so sorry to hear about your son - MMS works on pathogens and inflammation that they cause (in addition) - and that doesn't sound like what's going on for your son. I know it helps with my arthritis, which is really more an autoimmune inflammatory response - so maybe it will help with some of his pain - I just don't know. It won't hurt him, but I doubt it will do much for the SCA.
