hi sharon,

im also diabetic, and no, honey is not the same as sugar.
you only need a small amount of honey on empty stomic.
then after 10 min you can take your breakfast and medicines, your bloodsugar will go down, but the good thing is that you will balance your stomage(balance between mucus and acid in stomic.)
then you will be fine with mms

Honey contains the 26 enzymes required to build and sustain human blood.
I've read that unpasteurized honey can sustain life for 30 days on its own.
I read the book Bee's Don't Get Arthritis by Fred Malone back in late 70s early 80s and have used honey on a patient unable to intake food of any kind. Also I've heard there are better and lower grades of healing properties in different types of honey. MANUKA sposed to be high in healing properties.

Hi Bird,

It puts my blood sugar up just like sugar and have been advised to stay away from honey,as it reacts the same as sugar.I love honey and only buy local honey, which is what you should buy,as its made by local bees with local pollen, which is what people are sensitive to and what causes hayfever. I will try it once more, but if it raises my bg,its a no-no.Thankyou.

best wishes sharon

Hey, Bird - could you define "a small amount" on an empty stomach, and also what the meal you do afterwards looks like? (and how soon you eat after, and do you test after you eat or just after you take the honey... Those things might be critical in determining what happens with Sharon's blood sugar.

Thanks!

Hi Pam,

It`s sooo simple,

You take a tea spoon of honey on the empty stomach.
wait for 10 min.
then you take your pills or insuline(they start to work at least after 10-15 min)
then you take your breakfast
and a tea spoon of honey does not effect your normal breakfast!!(it`s very small amount,we are not talking about a pancake)

it has nothing to do what kind of breakfast you take after the honey...
i take somethings a smoothy:blackberriies,banana,hennep,grape juice,apple
or
omelet with grapejuice and toast
or toast with ham, cheese,or peanut butter

the thing is

if you have diabetis...
you take medicine or insuline before your breakfast, which start to work after 10 /more minutes so it`s no problem cause it will take care of the honey quite fast after taking that small amount of honey

that`s why you can take a teaspoon of honey
but that tiny spoon of honey what does not makes a major difference in the blood sugar, because, 10-15 min your insuline or pills are going to take care for the honey ,makes a major chanche in the balance of your stomach(acid/mucus balance)
greetings, bird

and this is for everybody who has stomach problems...try honey it will balance your stomach problems....

its too much acid what causes the problems, cause if there was the wright balance between mucus and acid in stomach there would n`t bee stomach ache

greetings bird

so if you take a thea spoon of organic honey,(not the kind of honey which contains sugar etc, just the pure honey)
there`s really nothing to worry about.
It`s such a small thing you add to your breakfast...
it would be a big difference if i would say you need a pancake to balance you stomach!!!that would mean a whole lot of sugar!!!and would mean also you had to change your insuline or pills, but noway with a tea spoon of honey:)))

But that teaspoon of honey as little as it seems makes a dramatic change in your stomach!!!(balance between mucus and acid in your stomach)
and ofcourse not in one day...
perhaps a few days ,according to ayurveda, diabetis patients are able to take honey, but not sugar, honey and sugar are absolutly different!!!!

GREETINGS,
BIRD
