Can anyone help determine the protocol for purifying water? Directions on the bottle say to add 1:1 (@50% citric acid), but it doesn't say how much water that will treat.

Appreciate the input!

Hallo and welcome to the Forum Parnofiello

Water treatment is one of the first basics Jim taught with MMS - and is damn useful. I use 1 drop per liter, so for a bucket of five liters I use five drops (I think the original book said 3) and then let it stand for two hours - filter if necessary and use.

My stronger application comes from treating my spring water storage tanks where I dose them every three months - against any inclusive plant or foreign material that may be entrained.

Thank you for the reply.

I understand water treatment being one of the basics, which is precisely why I was surpised at the dearth of accurate directions for purifying water with MMS. Over the many internet threads on this topic, it was all over the place with respect to activated or unactivated and how many drops. Nor can I find directions in "The MMS of the Third Millenium 2011".

When you speak of 1 drop per liter, do you activate or not?

Regards - Paul

I am curious to the water purification when one has "city" water, as I do in MI.
It is my understanding that the MMS will not take out the added Fluoride [and who know what else?] that the city puts in.
My son and I tried to purify our ''tap'' water [put into glass jars] a few years back and did not feel it was very successful. The taste of the water was horrible with our attempts.
We did not activate because the bottle did not say to.

Steve,

I've been treating the water trough for my cattle (10 cows) this summer. It's 75 gallons when full and I add 10cc's of activated mms and 30 cc's of 6000 ppm cds 3 times a day when topping up the trough. The tank is open topped and exposed to sunlight - so I've been assuming it's all dissipated by the time I top up again. What's your considered opinion?
Martin
