Hi,

I'm new to the boards so forgive me if I'm asking a question that may have already been addressed but I need some clarification. Mr. Humble mentioned in his book that he used an MMS Citric Acid mix to clean a room (using the gases) and I'm wondering if a solution could be used to clean contaminated carpets.
We live in a rental property with old carpeting and I'm seeing the effects of whatever contaminants existed before we came to live here, on my kids and my pets. I suspect mold and old animal urine, amongst God knows what else and landlord won't replace the carpets.
Is it possible to use MMS solution as a spray to use on surfaces/carpeting?

Thank you so much for your help.

Lisa

Lisa, you can but try. I use it in my root cellar on mold. The only thing to notice is that you will occasionally get some fiber lightening action - that may make a difference. I would try it on an out of the way place, first.

This is a great topic, and I was just going to ask a similar question. I'm wondering if activated MMS would work ok going through my dishwasher. Now that I'm eating meat again, I am more concerned about the sanitation of my cutting boards, and kitchen in general. Maybe an MMS spray for the cutting boards instead of bleach? Or maybe bleach would still be best for any raw chicken pathogens, etc. What about in the washing machine? I've been using Bon Ami in my bathrooms but maybe an MMS spray would be better for scrubbing the toilet down?

Has anyone tried this yet? Did it work well?

Marlin: It's like he's trying to speak to me, I know it!

I see what you've written but my mind just can't compute! Is there a translation into drops of MMS with Citric Acid??
