Here is what I posted on the other thread:

Hi Evanir,

That is Dr. Ron in that video with Jim and the baking soda protocol has been called into question by Andreas. In one of those videos with Kerri (www.michaelharrah.us/Protocol/learn-more-about-the-parasite-protocol-links.html) he said he tried using baking soda to buffer CDS injections with animals and the baking soda definitely was neutralizing the benefits of the CDS.

I did have people give me some good reports on the baking soda protocol back when I was recommending it, but I don't recommend it any more. Kerri Rivera says to definitely stay away from baking soda as well.

It is up to each individual, but this is the best info I have right now.

here is what he wrote:

To be clear, you are saying do not add baking soda to CDS...right ? The title of this thread says MMS1......baking soda added to MMS1 is ok. Right ???

it's my understanding that sodium bicarbonate ( baking soda) neutralizes citric acid
creates an instantaneous reaction releasing carbon dioxide.

In the case of MMS production you're trying to get a reaction between the sodium chloride and citric acid to produce cds (chlorine dioxide)

If you're trying to hold the production of CDS baking soda will work, if you're trying to mix these three components together is will not work. This stopped the production of chlorine dioxide

basically what's happening mix sodium chloride and citric acid you get chlorine dioxide. Add baking soda for sodium bicarbonate this reaction will cease. Will not affect CDS already produced only the citric acid. Results in a lessening of the taste of citric acid.

My question would be what happens to the carbon dioxide produced?
