What is the most accurate test for HSV? i'm not including the IgG test because that's the antibodies and that remains in the body forever. But how to know if your cured or not? The PCR DNA is not very reliable, since I still have outbreaks even though I tested negative for it. So im so confused on what test should someone take to know for sure that the virus is out the body?

Sometimes that's how this forum works.

You may post a question and have many replies. However, you may have a question and no one has an answer for you.

Also, please bear in mind that you have to wait for an answer, sometimes someone can answer your question straight away or within days or weeks.

All I can say to you at this moment is do a protocol and stick to it. As you know you can pass a PCR blood test and still have HSV.

Also, antibodies may fall and decrease in some after the disease is gone while others have them for life.

I'm sorry, there is no single answer to some questions.

In a nut shell:

1>A blood PCR may not be 100% reliable cos HSV may not be present in the blood sample at the time of testing tho it could be hiding in the nerves But a PCR culture from a blister is very reliable IF taken within 48 hours of a sore/blister.

2> Once you test positive with an IgG you may always test positive as one may have the antibodies for life. Forum member Nir still has antibodies for hepatitis from a vaccine he had over 20 year ago. However, people are required to take a tetanus jab or booster every few years cos the antibodies die and fall off and they no longer have enough antibodies to provide immunity.

3> A PCR blood test on spinal fluid is considered accurate by some cos they believe HSV resides in the spine BUT does it really? According to the medical profession HSV lives in the nerves. However, I suggest everyone do their own research as I have no medical training to assert this claim. From my own research and what I believe, it hides in the nerves, so I would not do a spinal tap based on my own research and what I believe.

Does the above answer your question? Probably not.

Is there a single test to confirm HSV is eradicated from your body? If you ask your Dr or any Dr, they will say no cos they believe viruses cannot be cured.

All you can do is do a protocol, an intense one that includes taking MMS for 10-12 hours every day for about 6-12 weeks PLUS using activated MMS and DMSO topically on the face, neck, lower back, butt crack and over the entire buttock 3-4 times a day.

You sound despondent.

Why bother??? Because obviously you are concerned about your health. If you weren't, you would not be on this forum asking questions about HSV cures and tests.

It is up to you if you 'bother' to do the protocol. Only you can take your health into your own hands.

I know this is a difficult time as it is with anyone suffering from HSV BUT this is a time to be strong.

As I said before, there may not be an answer for the questions we have. There are many diseases that the so-call expert don't even know what causes them and can only treat the symptoms.

For example, have you heard of Hidradenitis Suppurativa? Dr's do not know what causes this condition and people suffering from this have many questions and no answers except that the medical profession think it may be some sort of auto-immune disease.

Again, all you can do is do a protocol, an intense one, stick to it and wait to see if you have any further outbreaks.

Sometimes there just aint answers for our questions, that's how life is sometimes.
