Hi,

I recently about a month ago got into some poison ivy while cleaning some vines off my back fence.
I didn't know it was poison ivy for two days and from my knees down and my left forearm was really blistered for a couple weeks.
I sprayed with MMS spray often and it stung, but I put up with it and I saw daily healing progress.
I tried the DMSO spray. Mine is about 90% DMSO spray. I mixed it that way.
The DMSO burned quite a bit. It started burning a few minutes after spraying and lasted probably a good 10 minutes.
I thought, since it penetrates, it was able to get to the poison ivy and release it and that probably was the cause of the sting.
I still think that was happening, because I had sprayed it before when getting rid of ganglions in my knuckles and it didn't sting then.
After a month or so, the DMSO spray still stings those areas.
I do it because I want to release it all.
I think poison ivy is supposed to be gone by now, but I still itch sometimes.

I was also kind of doing Sacrament 1000 most days too.

Joe

What I read about DMSO on the skin was that it's important to make sure your skin is clean are it will take with it into the body whatever is on the surface of the skin.

Was adding DMSO a good idea? Seems to me if you had poison Ivy on your skin adding DMSO would draw it further into your body?

Oh, I did not have poison ivy on my skin when treating it.
I had thoroughly washed it daily by then.
I applied the DMSO to the clean and blistered skin.
I think it was a good idea, but I am not positively sure.
It burned. I was thinking that it could have been "releasing" the poison into my skin.
I thought maybe there were concentrations of the poison under the skin and the DMSO was penetrating and making it dissipate.
Really I was just guessing on that, but I wanted to do "something" to it.
It was so irritating, I had to work on it somehow.
The calamine lotion was very soothing early on, but later it just caked up on my skin and didn't seem to do anything.
I was spraying it with mms and DMSO or both.
I think it lasted a long two weeks.

A product sold as Calcium Sulphate in the United States and sold as H3O elsewhere, will cure poison ivy much quicker than that. For dosage purposes, it can be mixed with water and taken daily. But, for poison ivy, or other skin problems, I wet the affected skin with the undiluted liquid. It does not take many treatments ordinarily. The product is sold by Alpha-Omega Labs.

I do not sell products. I have bought from this web site for about 15 years.

This link gives a few tips - but all seem to be about Drawing out the Toxins/poison ... I'd say DMSO would have the opposite effect and take whatever poison there was in the underlying surface layers of the skin and help it to get even further into the body

Yes, Megg, really good things to know.

Charles, I have Calcium Sulfate on the shelf. It is from Herb Healers. I haven't gotten around to opening it yet! Ha!

Archer, thanks to you too for that information.

Well, now I know. I also know what Poison Ivy (PI) looks like and it is not too likely that I will allow myself to get reinfected with this stuff next year.
PI appears every year in that section of my yard. Near the back fence. It is overgrown brush on the other side.
I just never knew what it was. Until this year.

Live and learn. Which is what we are doing with MMS, etc. Live and learn.

Thank you all.

I want to thank you for posting about using H30. I had Poison Ivy bad on my face and every hour used H30 diluted to recommended amount and it helped tons! I am so glad I have these places that sell these products so i can treat myself without paying a doctor to cover it up. H30 saved me. I also am taking some internally and now today i am doing my home made colloidal silver on the face. Many many great products to use. Thanks for the recommendation

Note that (AFAIK) DMSO does NOT cause "large pathogens" to spread throughout the body.
It should only work on VERY SMALL things, like chemical compounds. (like MMS/CD/ClO2)

Bacteria, Parasites, Fomites, Molds & Fungi, etc., and even things as tiny as Viruses,
should be MUCH too large to be affected by DMSO.
