Interesting. I think he misread, since I can't find calcium chloride anywhere (on google), and calcium chlorite is pool shock :cheer:

I think i'll make a trip into town and look at one of those jars <G>.

The pickeling crisp is packaged for actual pickles, so maybe it is sold in the canning/pickeling departments in stores.

I think he was right about it being calcium cloride, but wrong about it being Pool Shock.
