Usually it either stays the same or decreases. I've never heard of it elevating...

can I assume that CDS will work as well for blood pressure as mms? I read Jim's feb. update and want to make sure. Also, with CDS does it matter how much water you use with a dose? I am using four or five ounces but a lot of water in between.

BP is one of those things that may take longer - and is not 100% guaranteed <sigh>. My intermittant HBP never remitted on either MMS or CDS, will be honest.

I ended up using Carditone (OTC ayurvedic herbal prep, got it at the health food store. Worked fine for me, although the ayurvedic doc I was seeing at the time (his family actually MAKES Carditone from herbs grown in India) said that for some people who had already been on HBP meds, sometimes Carditone didn't work as well. It has the herb that is used for lisinopril. I've been off it now for 3 weeks or so and should test my BP to see if it has come back up. If it has, I'm going to move to Divya Mukta Vati

Someone here was also recommending Divya Mukta Vati

www.matchless-gifts.com/store/products/Divya-Mukta-Vati-%28for-High-Blood-Pressure%29%3B-40-grams.html

I can't see from the picture the herbs that are in it, but the things written in the blurb on the page above do not include the same herbs as in the carditone . The person who did the Divya Mukti said that when he went off, his BP did not elevate again, but his pulse went up a bit. (within the norm range) You can read the comments on the page.

I bought the carditone because my doc was wanting to put me on HBP meds and I didn't want to be tied to them for the rest of my life. And it was available here. The Divya Mukta Vati is shipped from India (also ayurvedic), but the postage is free. I had ayurvedic meds for other things when in India and can attest to their efficacy.

Most medications (like our HBP meds) come from herbs from which they've extracted the "active ingredients" - the problem is that there are other ingredients in the herbs that support or modulate the action of that herb, itself. Like taking a whole food vs just a small part of it.

The amount of water is not an issue. You're fine.

Never been on Blood pressure meds. Used Tikva plus and it seemed to work slowly, but then i wentv to Canada to work on a tv project and got stressed out and was back to where i started. I will keep on my CDS 1000 protocall and try the carditone.

I checked this morning after my previous post and my BP was back up at 145 over (can't remember the bottom number <G>) Ordered the Divya Mukta Vati, but it will be a month to 6 weeks before it gets here. That's OK.

Carditone takes 10-14 days to bring the numbers down, but it does work. I'm not sure what my elevation is being caused by -

Pam, Steve
Try making a garlic tincture.
Get a "new" garlic head (as fresh as you can) an separate their teeth.
Cut them in small pieces.
Put in a bottle with Alcohol 500 ml (regular 96% pharmacy alcohol)
Let it rest for 12 days, giving a little shake every day.
Keep it in dark.
After 12 days, filter it with a coffee paper filter.
Take about 3 ml by the mornings mixed with a full glass of water.
It will (relatively fast) normalize your blood pressure and reduce your bad cholesterol.
Widely tested, it is one of the old remedies for HBP.
my father in law takes it since about 60 years by now (he has 94 now!)

Also, try to increase water intake, to be sure you are properly hydrated
This is at least 30 ml for every kg of weight.

Try to read "the body many cries for water" of Dr. B.

Yo are sure you are taking water OK, when your pee color turn from yellow into light yellow or colorless.

Thanks for your candidness. I also ordered the carditone and Divya Mukta Vati. I am going to resolve this issue somehow without pharmaceuticals.
Best
