I am a pioneer within my Lyme community on the 1000+ protocol. I try to share my enthusiasm about CDS + DMSO with others, but they are often afraid and they have lost hope. At least the protocol takes away 90% of my symptoms and whether it eradicates the germs is yet to be known. I think this site should have a special Lyme section for us Lyme pioneers to share information since our illness is so baffling and unpredictable.

In the allopathic world of medicine, most popular abx cocktail for lyme is Biaxin + Plaquenil (Hydroxychloroquine). Does anyone know if Plaquenil is basically MMS?

thanks

The answer to your question is no, Penny. It is not the same. Sorry.

MMS is simply a 28% solution of sodium chlorite mixed with an acid to activate it. It's ClO2, Hydroxychloroquine sulfate (which is what Plaquenil is) is a colorless crystalline solid, soluble in water to at least 20 percent; chemically the drug is 2-[[4-[(7-Chloro-4-quinolyl) amino]pentyl] ethylamino] ethanol sulfate (1:1).
