Hi everyone! Just wanted to follow up on my status and the status of my wife:

Last time I got tested, as some of you might remember from my last post, my viral load was undetectable (thank God!). Still, my CD4 count was a little low (276) but the doctor told me with VL being undetectable, CD4 should start going up. I still haven't tested again since it's been only about 2 months.

Now here's something curious: my wife just got tested for Viral Load and CD4.

Unlike me, she was NEVER on ART Meds, she only did MMS (Protocol 4000), Spirulina and Astragalus (together with healthy habits).
Yesterday we got her test results: even though her Viral Load went up (it's 2.884 now.... six months ago it was under 700), her CD4 count went UP from 566 to 750! (which is a pefectly "normal" CD4 count!).

We finished protocol 4000 about two and a half months ago, so we're aware the ideal thing was to wait for three months before testing again.... I even read Jim stating that if you get tested BEFORE a three months period, you should expect the viral load to be higher.... so that's what we're hoping (and praying) for.... if that's the case, than it's all reall good news! :)

So results were curious.... it's WONDERFUL that her CD4 count went up, however VL went up too... any thoughts on that? I didn't think that was possible at all... if the HIV virus attacks CD4 cells, how can she have a better CD4 count with a higher VL? It seems her immune system is getting stronger?! I'm truly hoping that's just good news.... perhaps the VL is higher because we didn't wait the full 3 months.... anyone has any experience on that?

Just to let you all know, we're both on Protocol 4000 maintenance protocol. She takes one MMS2 capsule a day and I take two... we've been on this maintenance protocol for almost 3 months....

Anyway, any thoughts will be welcome!

Faith, love and health to everyone!

Chris,

I do have a suggestion ....

If I was you, I would get another test, BUT get it from another lab. Just like if a person is getting diagnosed with cancer, you go to 3 different doctors for 3 different opinions.

Th reason I am saying all this, is because the other week, my girlfriend went to get some blood work done (tests) from her family doctor .... and when the tests came back, her doctor told her that her thyroid was shutting down, and immediately gave her a prescription for Synthroid®. She came home visibly upset, and in a serious funk.

I told her, I don't think so.... and we went to my doctor, and both of us got a complete blood work-up. 4 days later, the tests came back, and they were perfectly normal for both of us. We brought the first blood work tests with us, and asked my doc how there could be such a far range from then to now... he took one look at the test, and saw what lab it was, and told us flat out that one of the machines they use for testing at that lab is always out, and needs calibrating, yet they still use it. I was stunned.

But based on the current tests, he said that there is NO way my girlfriend had to go on Synthroid for a Thyroid that was shutting down.

SO.... you might get 3 tests to see for sure .... as there are always a few unseen 'variables'.

call me a denialist (of lies?), but my own personal research tells me rather strongly nowadays that the HIV thing, is nothing but some well played out bullshit for a cashcow of unimaginable proportions. if there is anything at all bad with the HIV virus it seems to be the AZT drugs pushed out to the victims in order to combat it. another thing is the hiv tests used. i find those tests rather questionable, if not unequivocally ridiculous. but then my research could be wrong. i am by no means an expert in the field of HIV.

oh well. hope everything works out for the best. :)

Hey, Clint and Matthew

Thanks for your support!
It is, indeed, a very controversial topic....

We talked to our doctor today... he told my wife not to worry about the VL and said the CD4 count is indeed greg! :)
In September she'll take the test again... by then we'll have had a long time since the end of Protocol 4000.... and hopefully not only the CD4 will keep getting higher but also the VL will go down...

Has anyone here taken the VL test after waiting for 3+ months past protocol 4000?
Faith, love and health to everyone!
Chris

Mathew,

I think he was referring to HSV (Herpes Simplex Virus) ... not HIV

:-)

with the header of the thread being "HIV - Interesting Follow UP!" and general talk about CD4 count, that makes sense. :)

Where does he mention HPV?
