Hello everyone, I am Stephanie. I just got on today. I teach 4th grade in Nashville. I am usually not one to respond on forums and usually just read others posts. However, I decided to post.

I just started MMS about 5 days ago. I was taking about 6 drops twice a day (b/c of work and schedule). A day before I first started it, I noticed I was getting a sore throat/congestion. Upon starting, I did a few respiratory treatments by inhaling a little MMS before drinking it mixed with juice. I was careful not to do too much though because of the warnings I had read on this protocol. I assumed it would nip the congestion before it started, but it didn't. I have never experienced as much greenish-brown mucus coming from my nose and lungs in my life. I am also coughing up hardened clumps of mucus from my lungs (not to be gross, but they look like boogers). It has become so bad (with the mucus) that I stopped the MMS for a few days. I probably should not have done this, but I was scared.

Here is my question: "Could this be a reaction of healing, or a Herxheimer reaction?" I never got nauseated at all from the MMS. Do some people experience this type of die-off? Just wondering. I think I am going to start back with a dose of MMS tonight before bed.

Herxheimer reaction is diarrea or nauseaus. This is experienced if the die off is to great for the elimination points of the body to handle..
If you are expelling a lot of flem leaving your lungs that is very good. Do just what you are doing but steadily, not too much/deep inhalation.
You have experienced exactly what I had 2 years ago. And I did the same as you are doing.

Whatever it takes to get rid of that stuff, Stephanie - All that mucous (biofilm) is where the pathogens like to hide.
