maybe, i dont really know.
there is a pharmaceutical drug which is good for dementia though, and probably also alzheimers.

it is a drug called Hydergine, and it was invented by Albert Hoffman, the creator of LSD.

Hydergine actually comes from the same fungi (Ergot) that LSD was created from. it (hydergine) works by giving more oxygen to the brain and according to his wife, Sasha Shulgin (the creator of MDMA and many other drugs he created and tries on himself before making a conclusion) has some mild dementia but Hydergine most definitely improved the situation.

it can be gotten through a place called Anti Aging Systems. google "anti aging systems hydergine".
