Hi, I had an Inverted papilloma removed from my sinus 4 months ago.
This is a type of wart that grows inward toward the bone. Looks like a polyp but much worse.
Dr believes he removed all of it but these have a reputation of coming back (60-80% chance) and sometime turn into cancer.
I started the protocol 1000 3 days ago no problems.
I use a neti pot to rinse my sinuses with.
Netti pot we use a small measure of salt about an 1/8th teaspoon per 8 oz of water, for a mild saline solution. If you use plane water it is uncomfortable to rinse the sinus with.
I read about using a nasal solution 1 drop per oz I tried it in my neti pot and it burns, very hard to use.
I tried adding the MMS to the saline solution and it is better but still burns.
Will the saline solution neutralize the MMS?
Any suggestions on how to use MMS in the sinuses?

Thank you.

Hi Ken. If you activate the mms in a small glass, without adding water, you will get chlorine dioxide ( the active ingredient). Very carefully, sniff the gas, starting well back and then getting closer as you're able. Start with 1 drop of each.
When you've had enough sniffing, add water and drink the rest ( waste not, want not - my mother taught me :>) )
By all means continue with the Sacrament/protocol 1000 !

Paul's suggestion is excellent - I think Jim Humble says to not go over 2 activated drops for the inhalation procedure -
Michael has posted the protocol here

To answer your question - the salt does not in activate the MMS -

I hope you were using activated MMS in your neti pot. :) The unactivated MMS is very alkaline, and would definitely burn. You might try starting with 1 drop activated per cup, and i think JH goes up to 4 drops activated per half glass of water.
From his book (this part is in the free ebook section)

• Nose and sinus problem – Make a 6-drop dose in half a glass of water. Lie down and put 6 drops in each nostril every few hours until well. Or use a quart of water with 32 drops of activated MMS in it. Rest your head down in the sink sideways and with a hot water bottle, use the hose to drain the water into the upper nostril and allow it to flow out of the lower nostril. Then turn your head over and do the same with the other side.
• Sinus congestion -- Four drops in half a glass of water. Lie on your back and put several drops in each nostril; or drain several glasses to a quart through one nostril and out the other 4 or 5 times daily until the sinus congestion is gone.

I know you're not having congestion - just thought I would give it all to you.

My neti pot holds a cup, and I usually make up a 2 cup measure of water (one cup for each side) with the salt. (I think mine calls for 1/4 tsp per cup of water) - I will activate my MMS separately and then add it to the 2 cup measure after it's done, stir it in with a plastic spoon, and go from there.

Thank you for the answers.
My neti pot holds 1 cup or 8 oz of water. I use the measuring scoop that came with the kit. I was guessing 1/8 teaspoon it may be 1/4.
The salt makes the warm water much nicer to pour through my nose.
I activate the mms separate in a plastic measuring spoon and then stir it into the warm water.
It still is very uncomfortable.
I wonder if it is reacting with a problem in my sinuses or if that is normal.
Has any one reported back on what it feels like to put the recommended solution through there nose?
How often do you use the solution in your nose?
I found it is better to do it in the morning it irritates my sinuses and they swell shut, so its hard to breath and sleep at night.

Ken, yes, I do mine in the morning - because I have all that nighttime crud that dries and the morning wash seems to help. I also have major allergy issues and in the spring I have blocked eustachian tubes. <sigh> If I do it at night, I find that all the liquid (whether just saline or saline+MMS) doesn't drain before bed - and I want all that drained out.

Pam,
How much MMS do you put in your neti pot?
Do you experence any burning?
I am using 1 drop of mms per 1 OZ of water. May be that is too strong?

Thanks,
Ken

I actually make up a 2 cup mix with the saline solution, then I activate 4 drops of MMS once it's activated, I put it in the 2 cup measure. My issue is more allergies and trying to flush out the nightly dry crud and provide a little MMS for the healing of the inflammation/irritation.

I'm a firm believer in going slowly unless you're in a life-threatening situation. I also look at any sort of "irritation" issues with the above dose as working on whatever is there. It is never uncomfortable enough that I want to stop. Just my experience, however.

I was using 4 drops per 1/2 cup.

I will try 4 drops per 2 cups and see how it feels.
