Hi I put Calcium hypochlorite in our drinking tank to kill any bugs, using 1g Cap in a 5000 liter tank and left it over night we were so amazed how clear the water was, today we all got a belly ache. is this a good or bad thing? I just wanted to make sure the water was clear of any bugs before using MMS the first time.

My son woke this morning with a bad nose cold and could hardly breath, I made a 3 drop mms and activated with a 50% citric acid and waited 20 seconds and said to him smell this and left it under his nose for about 2 seconds I did this twice, remember he could hardly breath, he went back to bed and I checked on him an hour later and he could breath through both nostrils as if he had no cold at all, he did say he felt a little light headed, he has had lots of trouble with blocked nose in the past.

I was told to use milk in stead of water after activation of the mms, is this a good idea or will it break down the solution?

Thanks for you help

Last edit: by wasa. Reason: I said sodium hypochlorite and it should have been Calcium hypochlorite. Sorry

I put my CDS in milk and my husband's CDS in Almond milk. I put MMS in my bird bath and it didn't do anything to the algae in there. I will try hydrochloric acid next.

SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE is bleach, it is NOT MMS. MMS1 is sodium chlorite.

Here are the instructions I have for water purification:
genesis2forum.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=31&id=2822&Itemid=66#2827
For clear water that would be 1 - 2 drops UNACTIVATED per gallon, for cloudy water 3 - 4 drops/gallon. Water will be 'safe' in 8 hours. Don't use activated MMS for storage (citric acid or other food acids will feed stuff).

To purify water fast for using, you can use 3 activated drops per gallon and wait 10 minutes.

I asked two questions sorry but did not get any answer really, but thanks for your input so far, yes thank you Michael. I read about that, but I just got my first bottle of mms and did not want to use it all in the tank.

I asked the first question, as I live in the bush and the water comes from a stream, when it rains the water can be very dirty and you have to wait till it clears to drink it or boil it. I did not get any sleep last night, as I was so worried about the water and using the mms the first time, that I was worried about poisoning myself and the family.

The second question was about milk, my supplier told me to use milk.

Just to note my son's nose is still unblocked and he is breathing fine and everyone's tummy pain is gone now except mine. I am the only one that has actually taken mms. I think everyone drank the water while it was still active.

Anyone able to answer the two questions from my original question, would be very helpfull?

Thanks Wasa

Calcium hypochlorite in tank water should be OK. It's used in swimming pools, and people drink that all the time. I don't know how it reacts with metal (assuming your tank is metal) - I'm not sure what caused the belly ache - sorry to hear that it is holding on - but it's good your son is breathing better!

Could you have been told milk because there might be less bacterial issues with it than with the water you have out in the bush? I know some people use milk. I have not.

The issue with the water is that MMS will purify the water, if there are any bugs left, but it "uses itself up" in the process - If your water is OK, now, then I think you can go ahead and use it, and the MMS will still be active when it goes into the stomach.. .

We put the Calcium hypochlorite in our well etc. Works very well, cleans the pipes etc. Make sure you do not do too much as you do not want to disturb the bacterial etc. balance in your septic system.
Belly aches are probably detoxing symptoms......
We put our well water through an "aqua rain" filter www.aquarain.com/ So the Calcium hypochlorite aka MMS2 is filtered out the water we actually drink. One would still absorb it through the skin when taking a shower and for a few days after we put it in the well and holding tank, we can smell the "chlorine" when we open the faucet.
We put Calcium hypochlorite in our well like twice a year.
I also like to put a little MMS2 in the toilet's holding tank once in a while.....makes it look nice and clear:)
Here is official info: see: www.ndhealth.gov/flood/well%20disinf.pdf
And I read somewhere that when you inhale MMS1, make sure to close your eyes.....

Hi and thank-you for your answers, in answer to my tank it is not metal, it is plastic tank, I have three in a row the water comes from the bush into a 1000 L tank, then it pours into a 5000 L tank and then it pours into another 5000 L tank, all up there is about 11,000 L of water art any one time to use. The idea is that by the time the water gets to the last tank the water is clear, and this works very well except in long stormy weather and then we have to boil the water for a few days after the storm, or until the water clears again.

I have lived here for 25 yrs and have just cleaned the tanks by hand once or twice every 2 yrs. The water is very nice to drink is very natural and I thought it was ok to have natural bugs in the water, but when I started reading about how our body's are full of bugs and the idea is to kill all those bugs to rid our body of toxins, I thought I needed to make the water bug free.

Sorry I have not replied sooner, I had to reboot my computer, had many problems with my ISP connection. Still cant figure that out.
