It is known that many people have hemorrhoids as they age - and a lot of people drink wine - and a lot of wine can cause certain vitamin/mineral deficiencies. But it's all correlational, in that people who don't drink wine have hemorrhoids, too. I think it's a stretch to say that any acid food or drink can cause hemorrhoids.
It is really hard to say in her case, Veronika - she might have just been at that point where hemorrhoids would show up, whether she had had MMS or not. Straining on evacuation, excess weight, weaknesses in the area inherent in the rectal cancer process - the drugs she took prior to MMS, it could be so many things. We tend to see something happen and look around at things that have changed in the immediate environment and think - oh, this caused that - when in reality it might have been some other, longstanding issue, coming to the fore at the same time.
