I am collecting items I need to make CDS. I am ordering the AS1 air diffuser from aquaticeco.com and I was wondering if the tubing that they have on stock are good to order as well for this CDS process. Here is their description of this item and here is also link you can check out on the item :

"Specifically formulated for lab use, Tygon® 3603 tubing works with almost any inorganic chemical. Flexible and clear, it is noncontaminating, autoclavable and ideal for liquid and ozone gas transmission."

www.aquaticeco.com/subcategories/848/Tygon-174-Tubing?green=19BD3710-A107-554F-A084-4B6A6955BF79.

Thank you in advance for your help:)

Welcome to the forum Alohagirl!

That tygon 3603 works real well. I bought the 1/4" ID tubing and it fit on the stones fine and also slipped onto my 1/4" polyethylene from home depot I had installed in my stoppers and created an air tight seal on that too, and this is under forced air pressure.

That tygon seems to be very good. I also ordered some more from USplastic.com because they had many more sizes www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=23367&catid=864&clickid=searchresults .

Best wishes on your CDS generating!

Michael

I think it will be Ok. usually Ozone generator use Silicon tubing.

The way I see it, if it is good for Ozone it will be good for CDS.

I am not 100% sure but it looks OK.

I use Silicon tubing...

99¢ a Yard! Deep Blue Silicone Airline Air Pump Tubing for Aquariums, 3/16" I.D. This was the least expensive that I could find. I ordered 4 on ebay. Paul
